It is quite hard to see facial features,  so photograph split in to three at the bottom.   I realise this is before your time , but some of these officers may still have been serving in 1970.

   After being in contact with Vic DAVIS’ daughter and son in 2022/3, I have found out from Vic DAVIS’s autobiography that the photograph was taken as all the junior officers in the shot were called up to join the War effort.   All male officers under the 26 years of age had to join the Armed Forces in 1942.
