SPOT THE DIFFERENCE !

Or maybe it should be,  “Spot the Ball”, with all the trophies !   Can you can recall the days of the Pools companies, Littlewoods, Zetters and Vernons ?

 

  With thanks to, retired Chief Superintendent Royston SCOTT and Jayne POVALL SMITH, daughter of Peter SMITH, here are two photographs from the early 1950’s outside Poole station, which are very similar.                       YES, there are some differences, but not that many !!!  

                 The two photographs are from 1951 and 1952.

                 The above photograph was taken sometime in 1951. 

 

                                         The one below in 1952 !

In will start with 1952 because Roy SCOTT has remembered most of their names and I will look into any changes.

    Below are better shots of the 1951 photo and many of the same faces.

   And even closer !    Yes, I know it does not help much but I have tried many times to sharpen up the images and this is the best to my eyes !
